Audio tape transfer incurs a risk of tape damage.
While every precaution is taken to ensure proper tape handling and proper machine maintenence, pre-existing defects, damage, or age can lead to tape breakage. If a tape is already in badly deteriorated condition (including water damage, tape "shedding", tape "stickiness", mold growth) we may decline to work on it and refer you to a tape restoration specialist.
